United Workers’ Union is a powerful member-led union whose sole purpose is to serve the collective interests of members in workplaces and communities. They are a union of 150,000 workers across the country from more than 45 industries and all walks of life, standing together to make a difference.

CHALLENGE

The UWU Parramatta project was a full building refurbishment of a building that United Voice acquired in the 1980’s. The project brief was to refurbish the lobby and create a warm and inviting arrival experience, upgrade building amenities and add a disabled access bathroom. There were full-floor refurbishments over two levels to create a re-energised workplace on Level 1, and multi-functional conferencing space on level 2.

TRUE SOLUTION

TRUE teamed with Liquid Design to produce an amazing result. In regards to the multi-functional conference space, TRUE installed an easy to use, operable wall that spanned across the kitchen and communal area. This allowed the space to function as one large meeting room, two smaller meeting rooms or could completely open to the kitchen and create a great communal space to host a social event or gathering.

 

The workspace on the first floor came alive after TRUE installed United Workers Union images and signage, highlighting the company's history and what they stand for. The imagery added a truly touching look and feel to the space, something the client was extremly happy with. 

 

FEEDBACK

The client was so excited and thrilled with the end result that they agreed to a video testimonial to show their appreciation. Julie Korlevska, the Assistant Branch Secretary went on record stating the following;
