With over 35 years of experience side by side with fitness, health, and sports operators, Technogym works for their supplier’s facility success and exceed their customer’s highest expectations. Originating in Italy, Technogym’s focus in their brief was to incorporate as much of Italian products which were directly sourced from Italian suppliers by their headquarters in Italy. With their lease expiring and the requirement to upgrade their tenancy, this was the perfect opportunity for the leading gym equipment company to relocate to Rushcutters Bay. This relocation will allow Technogym to have better exposure of their products in their new 810sqm showroom.
Due to the lease expiring TRUE was challenged with a short turnaround and tight deadlines, but TRUE managed to rise to the occasion by accommodating this request for the client by going to tender, procuring and on-site within 2 weeks.
To ensure minimum disruption occurred to the client and their staff, TRUE took a phased stage approach by completing all urgent works to receive the occupational certificate, which allowed the employees to move in whilst working on the rest of the showroom.
The client wanted a showroom that showcased their premium gym equipment. TRUE managed to work with the client and the designer to ensure the furniture and fittings imported from Italy were to Australian standards and delivered a custom-built reception desk to fit in line with the rest of the look and feel of the office.
One of the main priorities of the Technogym project was to optimise the use of space and create a welcoming showroom incorporating furniture and fittings from their Italian headquarters. The Technogym clients and team can now benefit from the following:
Inbuilt showers were proposed by their designer in headquarters and were implemented to Australian standards by TRUE for Technogym so that their clients can benefit by trialling the equipment prior to purchasing from their showroom.
Staff now have a separate breakout and office space from their showroom, so they are not interrupted during client visits and are able to have a more enhanced team culture.
